A single folded Christmas card, 168x120mm. "L'adorazione Dei Magi" illustration to cover. Inscribed in ink by Valerie Eliot "To Janet with love Valerie", and further inscribed "& Tom" by T.S. Eliot. Near fine condition, a slight crease to the corner.
A personal Christmas card sent by the Eliots to Janet Roberts (1905-1999), nee Janet Adam Smith, writer, editor and literary journalist, who worked with Eliot at The Criterion, the quarterly he founded and edited throughout his life.
