One of 3000 copies, originally published at 20/-. The author, born in Muree, (then British India, now Pakistan), was a noted explorer, writer on Asia and spiritualist. Younghusband's native knowledge of the area is put to good use and provides colourful descriptions of the towns, villages, history and people of Kashmir and of the Himalayas.
