First edition. 8vo. White cloth lettered in gilt on both upper cover and spine. Decoration in green, russet and gold. Top edge gilt. Seventy five colour illustrations with captioned tissue guards and folding sketch map at rear. A very good copy indeed, generally clean and bright. Uncommon thus.
Published in a sole edition of 3000 copies, originally published at 20/-. Hungary was considered to be "a very 'foreign' country to British readers" at the time, and the book itself is described by Inman as "A lovely book, whose white cloth... puts fine copies at a premium."
