Strange Meetings

MONRO, Harold

MONRO, Harold Strange Meetings

The Poetry Bookshop, 1921.

Third edition (Third thousand). 8vo. Brown paper covered boards, lettered and decorated in gilt. Inscribed by the author on the front free endpaper "Harold Monro 1923 to Sidney Gutman" A very good copy indeed, slight browning to the endpapers and a small bump to one corner, else clean and bright.

Monro was the proprietor of The Poetry Bookshop, promoting and publishing new poets. Sidney Gutman was a partner at the Bermondsey Bookshop and promoted new authors. A nice association.
