A large hand-coloured plate, one of only 250 copies, this being number 66. The poem is taken from When We Were Very Young, and is accompanied by E.H. Shepard's delightful drawings. 495 x 635mm. The image is clean and bright, with slight browning to the extremities.

Originally published in a suite of six plates and issued in a portfolio just after the publication of A.A. Milne's first book of poems, When We Were Very Young. This poem and its surrounding drawings give us the first glimpse of Winnie the Pooh.
