A very good copy, with previous owner's bookplate to the front pastedown, in a near very good price-clipped dustwrapper with chips to the spine ends, and tear to rear panel reinforced to the verso.
British mountaineer Harold William (Bill) Tilman participated in two Mount Everest expeditions, and in 1938 led the expedition which reached 27,200 feet without the use of supplemental oxygen.
