First edition. 4to. Green cloth, with bevelled edges, lettered and decorated in gilt, all edges gilt. Thirty six full page etchings, plus many more in the text, engraved by W.J. Palmer, from drawings on wood by H.R. Robertson. A very good copy, with a repair to the head of the spine and some wear to the base of the spine and corners rubbing to spine ends and edges, with a little sporadic foxing internally. Bookplate on the front pastedown.
