Sixty full page colour plates with captioned tissue guards and many black and white illustrations and designs in the text. A fine set, a crease to the corner of one plate and one page edge slightly worn in the final volume. A handsome set.
The first comprehensive survey of English furniture, which has been much reprinted and remains a standard work on the subject.
