Fine contemporary binding by Zaehnsdorf, of full dark blue polished calf, gilt decoration and lettering to the upper cover, gilt rules and dentelles, spine with burgundy title labels lettered in gilt, raised bands with gilt and burgundy decorations to the sections. Marbled endpapers. All edges gilt. Four colour plates and black and white engravings by Leech. A most handsome copy, minor rubs to the corners of the beautiful binding.
