The poems are accompanied by twelve full page colour illustrations and twelve full page black and white plates, as well as many other smaller black and white drawings in the text, all by Harry Clarke. A near fine copy, with a charming gift inscription tipped in to the verso of the half title.
This is a charming selection of poems by a range of well loved poets. Including: Rupert Brooke's "The Great Lover"; plus verses by Robert Graves, Walter de la Mare, Rose Fyleman, Alice Meynell and others.
