Original maroon cloth with bevelled edges and gilt lettering and vignettes. Top edge gilt. Thirty fine engravings printed on both Japon and satin by Francis Walker. A near fine copy, with just a small indentation to the upper cover, but very crisp and bright. An exceptional copy of a rare and beautiful book.
The etchings in this work are particularly beautiful, representing probably the finest collection of this type in any book on the Thames [Cohen]
