Twenty tipped in colour plates by M.E. Gray. A very good copy, cloth slightly dusty. On the front endpaper is a manuscript poem by the original owner.
A large selection of poetry divided into nine categories, ranging from Fairies and Fancies to Romance and Heroism. Authors include Shakespeare, Coleridge, Tennyson and Lewis Carroll. Verses include The Babes in the Wood, Puck's Song and some Christmas Carols, including God Rest Ye Merry Gentleman and The Holly and the Ivy.
