Original blue cloth in pictorial dustwrapper. Light foxing to initial pages, dustwrapper shows minor rubbing to the corners.
The author's scarce first book. Contemporary inscriptions in Burgess' early work are very rare. The nature of this inscription suggests that the dedication was a personal one.
