First UK edition. Original green cloth with gilt titles in printed dustwrapper with gold arrow on upper cover. A fine copy in a near fine dustwrapper, which shows just a trace of wear to the head of spine and back panel, but is otherwise exceptionally crisp and clean.
A novel set in Marseille in the 1870s during the Third Carlist War. Uncommon in such a well preserved dustwrapper.
