First edition. 4to. Blue cloth with gilt title to the front and spine, in a wrap around pictorial dustwrapper. Top edge blue. One coloured and four black and white full page plates by Howard Leigh and W.E. Johns. A near fine copy, with some fading to the spine ends, in a very good dustwrapper with wear to the spine ends and corners resulting in very little loss and a closed tear on the front panel with associated creasing. A very well preserved copy of a book seldom found in an unrepaired dustwrapper.
