A sumptuous Christmas Gift book. Large quarto. Red cloth, lettered in gilt and black, with gilt and black vignette. Pictorial endpapers. Tipped-in colour frontispiece with eighteen further tipped-in colour plates, under captioned tissue guards, plus a coloured illustration on title page, by Reynolds. A very good copy indeed, some foxing to page edges and a previous ownership inscription to the verso of the front free endpaper. Bright and clean.
