First edition. 8vo. Original black boards with silver title to spine, in a black and white pictorial dustwrapper. Full-page black and white plates by BB, in addition to head-pieces. A near fine copy, slightly worn to spine ends, in a near fine dustwrapper with some minor creasing.
For many years BB kept a journal detailing his "little adventures afield" and from that he extracted this "collection of such happenings, and impressions of the seasons.", beautifully enhanced by his trademark scraperboard illustrations.
