Twenty four full page colour illustrations by a variety of artists, forty two sketch maps and plans and fold out map in colour at the rear. A very good copy, with foxing throughout.
The publisher's advertising blurb states, "This book has been produced to meet the needs so often felt by motorists of a book which shall describe a carefully thought out route through the southern portion of England." It includes notes for drivers, distances and interesting objects along the way.
The routes take the motorist on a voyage from London via Reigate to Canterbury, along the South Coast from Dover to Fowey and Taunton, and then back through Padstow, Wells, Marlborough and Reading.
