12mo (14cm x 11cm). Blue cloth boards with gilt lettering, in a pictorial dustwrapper. Pictorial endpapers. Twelve colour plates and numerous line drawings. A near fine copy in a very good dustwrapper, clean but with some wear to the extremities and folds.
A charming book full of well known hymns and Christmas carols, including "Onward, Christian Soldiers", "O Little Town of Bethlehem" and "Away in A Manger". Illustrated by Cicely Mary Barker, who is best known for her illustrations of flower fairies.
