First edition. 12mo. Green paper covered boards with white lettering and pictorial onlay in original publisher's printed glassine dustwrapper. Pictorial endpapers and 27 colour plates, each with a page of text opposite. Printed on coated stock. A very good copy indeed, which is crisp and bright and internally very clean (gift inscription to the front free endpaper), with slightly wavy pages and a little spotting to the page edges. The glassine shows a few small chips to the head of the spine and panels, not affecting any of the lettering.
