A fine copy, ownership name stamped on the front free endpaper, in a fine dustwrapper, bright and unfaded, the verso of which has a tiny section of tape reinforcement to the head of the spine. The printed wraparound band has some foxing.
Winner of the 1938 Carnegie Medal for children's literature.
