First edition. Original maroon cloth in maroon dustwrapper. A fine copy with light foxing to the endpapers in a lovely near fine (price clipped) dustwrapper, that just has minor closed tears internally reinforced, but does not suffer from the chipping and lengthy tears that is common with this title.
Initially titled Work in Progress, Finnegans Wake took Joyce sixteen years to write and is in many respects his most substantial and complex work.
