Gilt cartouche depicting Dickens in an oval frame to the upper cover and his signature embossed in gilt to the lower cover. Marbled endpapers and gilt inner dentelles. All edges gilt. Thirty-nine full page steel engravings by H.K. Browne. A very good copy with a small repaired tear to plate facing page 70, in a very bright and clean binding.
