First edition. Original maroon cloth in the printed dustwrapper. A fine copy, browning to endpapers, in a very near fine dustwrapper, which is bright and clean with no wear, but is tanned to the front flap.
One of the finest collections of post-war poetry. It contains some of Larkin's best work, including the titular poem, as well as For Sidney Bechet, Days, MCMIV, Dockery And Son and An Arundel Tomb.
