First edition. Folio. Publisher's green cloth, decorated in gilt and blind, and lettered in gilt to the spine. Extensively illustrated. Twenty-one woodcuts in the text. Thirty-nine illustrations on engraved plates. Twenty-three genealogical tables, some on large foldout plates. A very good copy, externally bright but with cracks to the hinges. Internally very clean with many gatherings unopened.
Rare. An informative parochial and family history of both parishes, including reproductions of many early primary sources.
