First edition. Number fifteen of only fifty copies printed. In a full calf presentation binding, lettered gilt to spine with the Viscount Nuffield's coat of arms to the upper cover. With the Viscount's compliments slip loosely laid in. Frontispiece facsimile of the parish register, twenty photographs on fifteen plates, fifteen genealogical tables (nine on large foldout plates), and three large foldout maps to rear, A very good copy, with a short crack to the base of the joint.
