A fine copy, with a little spotting to the page edges, in a very good dustwrapper, which shows some wear to the spine ends and corners and minor surface abrasion at the joints.
The author's second book, now recognised for its profound influence on post war British culinary culture. The jacket appears to have been issued with this book, but is from the revised edition of 1958.
