First edition. 8vo. Dark blue cloth with gilt lettering and green ruled design on the spine and upper cover. Gilt heraldic device on the front. Top edge gilt. Inscribed by the artist on the front free endpaper "Edith C Burke from WB, July 6 1910" Twenty-four colour plates, under captioned tissue guards, by Wilfrid Ball. A very good copy, bookplate to front pastedown and foxed throughout, but overall an attractive copy with bright gilt.
