First edition. Original green cloth with gilt titles on the spine in scarce pictorial dustwrapper. A fine copy, in a very near fine dustwrapper, with trivial wear to the spine ends, but overall an excellent example of a very fragile dustwrapper.
The author's personal account of his experiences during the Spanish Civil War.
The book, from an edition of just 1,500 copies, is seldom encountered with a dustwrapper at all and when it is, it is invariably badly damaged. Copies in this condition are rare.
