Illustrated in line by Thomas Henry and Henry Ford. The dustwrapper illustration is also by Henry Ford. A very good copy indeed in a very good dustwrapper, which has a spot of touching of re-colouring at the spine top.
This book was a gift from Richmal Crompton to her friends and correspondents, Nancy and Jill-Anne Bowden. Nancy and Jill-Anne worked at Beaumont's bookshop in Charing Cross Road.
