First edition. 4to. Blue cloth with gilt lettering and decoration to covers and top edge gilt. Pictorial endpapers, show a scene of a fishing village in black and white. 30 colour plates of watercolour scenes from the Italian Riviera, under captioned tissue guards. A very good copy indeed, faded slightly on the spine but bright and clean throughout. Complete, but misbound at the time of publication with pages 17 to 32 bound in the wrong order. Christmas gift note loosely laid in.
A charming reminiscence for anyone who has visited this beautiful stretch of Italian coast and a lovely insight for those yet to go.
