Top edge gilt Forty four colour plates mounted onto brown paper, all under captioned tissue guards. There are also eleven black and white drawings. Two plates with small abrasions. A fine, bright copy.
This is a wonderful selection of Rackham's paintings. The illustrations in this book are split into sections which include: pictures of little people, classics, some fairy tales, some children, grotesque and fantastic and a section entitled "various".
