This copy complete with the original pictorial dustwrapper, with printed price of 8/6 net. 8vo. Top edge blue. Twelve colour plates and many line drawings by E.H. Shepard. A very good copy, spine top and corner bumped in a very good+ dustwrapper, complete with the printed outer dustwrapper.
It was always probable that, sooner or later, the two books of verse which I had written for and about children would come together within the covers of one volume... the invention of a title has proved too much for me. All I can think of is The Christopher Robin Verses. New colour illustrations by E.H. Shepard accompany Milne's now famous poems, Vespers, The King's Breakfast, Lines and Squares and many others.
