Mrs Agnes Bertha Marshall (1855-1905) was a culinary entrepreneur who was dubbed the "Queen of Ices" for her recipes for ice cream and other frozen deserts, and is generally credited with inventing the first portable, edible ice cream cones (which she called "cornets").
