Two volumes, first edition. 8vo. Blue boards lettered in gilt in pale printed dustwrappers. Number 419 of 1000 copies. Endpapers with map of regatta course. Volume one with 10 black and white plates and volume two with 8 plates. In very good condition, dustwrapper spines a little toned.
The introductory note begins, "These accounts of races were written year by year... with no idea they would be published. The intention was to keep together the material from which a history of the Regatta could be written. However, the Stewards have decided to use the accounts as they are. Spread over so many years they have no continuity of style and no literary merit."
