First edition. 4to. Blue boards with silver lettering on the spine and a silver vignette of a rabbit on the front, in a pictorial dustwrapper. Illustrated endpapers. Profusely illustrated in colour and in black and white. A fine copy in a near fine dustwrapper.
Leslie Linder collected over 2000 items by and relating to Beatrix Potter, and was responsible for decoding her journal. His bequest to the V&A is of enormous value to the Beatrix Potter scholar.
