First edition. Original coarse grained oatmeal cloth, lettered in red. Number 1 of 200 copies on Canson-Mongolfier Soleil velin M.R.V. paper. Each canto begins with a decorative initial letter. A fine copy, slight dustiness to the spine.
Pound's Cantos is generally considered to be one of the most significant works of modernist poetry. The work is noted for its use of foreign language quotations and many references to historical and cultural events.
