First edition. Stiff card covers with image of Father Christmas and pull tab to operate a movable device, which makes Santa close his eyes and open his mouth in laughter. A space to write a letter to Father Christmas (luckily the previous child owner has resisted the temptation to do this). Double page pop-up Christmas scene of a large house, Father Christmas and his sleigh and a group of carol singers. In very good condition and working order. A lovely festive piece of paper engineering.
