First edition. 8vo. 22 x 16cm. Blue cloth with lettering in black in the very rare pictorial dustwrapper. Colour illustration to the upper panel of the dustwrapper, colour frontis and line drawings throughout by Hilda McGavin. A super copy of this Blyton rarity. The book is in near fine condition, with slight dustiness to the page edges. The dustwrapper is very bright and clean, with publisher's price still intact and the white of the spine extremely bright. There is some staining to the rear panel and very slight wear to spine ends and corners, in very good condition indeed.
Amazing to find this popular story in such nice condition.
