First edition. Original marbled cloth in pictorial dustwrapper, which is believed to be the earliest state with "Second Choice" by Jeffery E. Jeffery as the last title on the rear panel. A fine copy in a very good dustwrapper, which is a little dusty with wear to spine ends and corners and a small chip to the base of the spine.
The author's successful second novel, charting the rise of the 'Bright Young Thing'. It is also one of the author's scarcest books.
