This map was originally issued in black and white as an accompaniment to the first edition of 'Tombleson's Thames' in 1834. It remains the most iconic map of the Thames. The map follows the Thames from Cirencester to Southend, taking in Lechlade, Oxford, Henley, Marlow and Windsor en route to London.
