This book reproduces the illustrated letters which Tolkien wrote each year for his children. The letters tell of Father Christmas and his helpers and are a delight to read.
It contains the majority of letters that Tolkien wrote to his children from 1920 to 1943, both reproduced in colour and also (up to 1939) transcribed.
