First edition. 8vo. Blue cloth with gilt lettering and black decoration on the spine and upper cover, in the scarce printed dustwrapper. Top edge gilt. Inscribed by the author on the front free endpaper "With the author's compliments - / London, / August, 8th, 1908" 24 full page colour illustrations painted by James Faed Jr. A near fine copy, with light wear to the spine ends, in a very good dustwrapper, a little dusty and chipped to the top of the spine.
One of the 6/- series. Uncommon in a dustwrapper.
