Finely bound in full scarlet crushed morocco, with raised bands to the spine, gilt lettering, vignettes and borders. The upper cover with inlaid leather panel depicting Alice donning the crown. Original decorative cloth covers bound in at the rear. All edges gilt. Black and white illustrations throughout by John Tenniel. A beautiful copy, with very light wear to the joints.
