Bound by Sangorski and Sutcliffe in half blue crushed morocco, over marbled paper boards,with raised bands, gilt lettering and decorations to spine. Marbled endpapers. Top edge is gilt and others are untrimmed. Pictorial endpapers. Twenty four tipped-in mounted colour plates under captioned tissue guards, twelve tinted plates and numerous drawings in the text. A very good copy indeed, spine slightly toned, light corner crease to one colour plate, and a long closed tear to p. 469.
