First edition, limited issue. One of 692 copies signed by the author. Quarter blue gilt decorated buckram cloth over yellow paper covered boards. Bookplate to front pastedown. A very good copy, with some dustiness to boards.
Bookplate of Ronald Fuller to the front pastedown, designed by Rex Whistler while the pair were at university together. It is the first bookplate Whistler designed, for the man who would later write the artist's biography.
