In 1919 Henley held the Royal Henley Peace Regatta, the highlight of which was the King's Cup, presented by George V for Allied military crews. Six nations competed with the Australian army winning the final against the Oxford University Service Crew. This remarkable little pamphlet details the members of the Oxford crew and provides information on the coaching techniques used in the week leading up to the Regatta - "with a view of putting on record the attempt.... made to resuscitate the style and traditions of Oxford rowing after the lapse of five years" [Preface]
