RACKHAM, Arthur Where the Blue Begins
Heinemann, 1925.
First edition illustrated by Rackham. 4to. Publisher's blue cloth with gilt lettering and vignettes. Top edge blue and pictorial endpapers. Pictorial title page, four very distinctive colour plates and sixteen black and white drawings. A very good copy indeed. The blue cloth is very bright, light rubs to the spine ends and a faint patch of discolouration to the rear board.
A satirical fantasy, in which an anthropomorphic dog searches the world looking for an ideal, only to find the touch of "heavenly blue" at home.
