Twenty-four of Clarke's enchanting black and white and colour plates, in addition to numerous line drawings throughout the text. A very good copy indeed, some light browning to endpapers. Bookplate to front pastedown.
The Bookman's Christmas supplement wrote "The subjects [of these poems] provide an admirable field for the genius of Harry Clarke... his colour pictures are particularly interesting; their delicacy will be much admired."
