Each volume in a fine contemporary binding by Riviere & Co. of full blue polished calf, with elaborate decoration and red morocco title labels in gilt to the spine, decorative borders and gilt vignettes on the upper covers of the white rabbit and the queen. All edges gilt, marbled endpapers and gilt dentelles. Illustrations in black and white by John Tenniel. A fine set housed in a custom made slipcase.
